The Middle

Track #:
6

If I was old I might have it together
Or if I was young that would be my excuse
But either extreme seems so easy to be
And I’m somewhere in the middle

Too young to act like there’s wisdom inside of my head
And too old to not care if its there
The pendulum swings to each end well defined
And I’m somewhere in the middle

So tell me when will I know where I fit into the scheme of things
Cuz right now I’m not even sure if I belong
The cracks are wide and it seems I just keep on falling in between
Please tell me I’m wrong
Please tell me I’m wrong

Its too late to back out of this race that we started
but it seems like the finish is light years ahead
So all I can ask is that you walk next to me
Here somewhere in the middle

Jill, Again, I just wanted to share with you what message your music speaks to my heart. Your songs, the words the The Almighty has blessed you with to reach a world of peole that hurt, that feel so behind the race of the pressures society puts on us to "be" or "do" or "have"... that feel "so lost in the middle". I can relate to so many of the words that you have written. Could it be that the heart of one writer has a special tie to that of another? I don't know. I just want to thank you, encourage you to keep writing, to love you for what you do. I'd love, LOVE to have a link on my blog to your music, your home page, anything to help spread the awesome music that comes so purely from your heart. Music that is real. Life has been so crazy and for me to be able to praise God, on my knees with a tear stained face as I seek Him for direction...Your music has inspired my heart and I want to thank you...seriously, heartfelt, thank you! Please let me know how I can place a link to your website onto my blog...like an album cover or anything. People need to hear your music and I want to help me an avenue that will put it out there!!

In His Grip,
Your sister in Our Lord and Savior!!

Kristi Cole
