Thanks, Rabbit Room

Jason Gray just posted a really nice review of The Good Things in the rabbit room. http://www.rabbitroom.com/?p=1259 If you haven't checked out Andrew Peterson's online forum now is the time. Not only have they posted this nice review, different writers discuss a wide variety of topics concerning faith and culture. Feel free to comment here or there and give us your feedback on the new record. Unless you hate EVERYTHING about it and then you can just keep the feedback to yourself:)

Jill, Love the cd and particularly found the lyrics to "Children" so meaningful. I'm a grandmother now and found your honesty with "I know I'm not enough for you, and you know this at your young age, Even though my love will fail you, the love that He has will not change" to be so comforting. I felt these feelings as a young mother and felt guilty that I wasn't enough for my children. Your lyrics have given me a whole new understanding of my feelings of inadequacy and God's role in our lives. I always appreciate the honesty you and Andy give. It is encouraging and somehow speaks to the truth that we are all in this together.
Have a blessed New Year!

Hi Jill,

Love the new album, totally excellent. Don't have a favorite track yet, but i keep repeating "All The Good Things" really paints a picture of my present moments. Thanks for sharing, thanks for being an amazing conduit of His Grace.
I pray His grace and love continue to be the shelter for you and your family...Amen.

I'm not much of a blogger, but I have felt moved several times to share this story, so as your new CD is playing on my computer - I will not-so-bravely heed the call! I became a fan of your music after a Behold the Lamb show in Nebraska two years ago. Last spring, I was thrilled to attend the Resurrection Letters show - when I was blind-sided by a song that Andy shared call "Resurrection". I could tell that even Jill and Andrew P. were moved when they heard it, but I was reduced to a sobbing mess, as I had lost my only brother in a car crash just months before. It was hard for me to feel so raw and exposed in such a large group of people. Truly a fan, however, I attend the Behold show again this year, all the while secretly praying Andy wouldn't sing that song. He didn't, and I was joyfully moved in other ways by the music and the message. I got my new "All the Good Things" CD home, and felt my heart in my throat, as that same song played. Only this time, it didn't hurt so much and spoke to me in ways I truly needed to hear. I could see that my heart had been healing, and was reminded that I do believe, and I will be okay. I love the whole CD, but that song means something very special to me, and I wanted to thank you for sharing it. God Bless!

I noticed in February that you will be playing in St. George Island. My family and I vacation there. It is such a beautiful place along with Apalach. I only wish that we were going to be there during our stay on the island. I have commented before on your blog. Do you respond to your comments? God bless.

I do sometimes, though not always because they normally aren't direct questions to me and because of time. I do read them, though!
